Do you find yourself running around like a headless chicken, flitting between tasks at break-neck speed without a chance to even catch your breath?

Are you spending a lot of your time completing boring, time-consuming jobs that are cutting into your day and distracting you from exploring new opportunities?

Are you spotting skills gaps in your current setup, and wishing you could pass over more specialist tasks to somebody with better knowledge?

Are you sick of spending your evenings and weekends bent over your laptop, catching up on the admin that’s been building up throughout the week?

If you’ve answered ‘yes’ to either (or all!) of these questions, I would say that, yes, you should look at bringing a VA into your business!

These are just a few of the tell-tale signs that you could do with some extra support. They are the kinds of red flags you can’t ignore, because they will be preventing you from growing your organisation and letting it reach its full potential. But change is hard, isn’t it? Especially when it means letting go of certain tasks and passing (partial) responsibility for your business’ success over to somebody else.

Don’t let the fear of the unknown stop you from hiring a VA!

Bringing somebody new into the fold can feel daunting. This is partly why a lot of business owners try to put off the inevitable; they worry that the person they choose won’t be the right fit, or will end up needing too much time from them and adding more stress to their workflow.

Throughout my time with Genie, I’ve seen so many people make all kinds of excuses as to why they’re not ready to commit to hiring a VA. But most of the time, when they finally do take the plunge, their fears are put to rest when they see what a great VA can really bring to the table.

The trick is to find somebody you instantly ‘click’ with. Yes, your chosen VA must have the skills and experience to meet your business needs – but they also need to have a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to gel quickly with you and your team.

I promise you that whatever you need, and however you work, the right VA is out there. It could even be me! Drop me a message to talk through your options and find out if now is the right time to take the plunge.
